House of Night and Day

POW Studios attended the major installation by renowned director, choreographer, and multidisciplinary artist Lemi Ponifasio.

“Ponifasio transforms Toi Art into an immersive live stage that acknowledges over 30 years of MAU projects. Central to MAU: House of Night and Day is a new ritual performance based on Lagimoana, which Ponifasio created for the 56th International Venice Art Biennale 2015 curated by the late Okwui Enwezor.”

We were impressed by the scale and power of the work, and all credit to Ponifasio, the visual team and the sound team.
