POW Studios was formed in 2015 by industry leaders Jason Canovas, Matthew Lambourn and John McKay and we have grown into a full post-production facility, comprising sound, picture and VFX.
Between us we have nine decades of award-winning post-production experience including nominations for Golden Reel Awards, an Academy Award and numerous New Zealand Film Awards for Sound Design and Editing.
Based in the heart of New Zealand’s film industry in Wellington’s post-production hub, we have deep connections with the world renowned picture and visual effects facilities throughout the region.
We work collaboratively with our specialist team who are expert at manipulating the reel and transforming it into the surreal or the fantastic.
At POW we don’t believe in just ticking the boxes. We have the capacity and capability to finish films with extraordinary care, efficiency and outstanding creative edge.
