Ara Mai Nuku - Rise up from the Earth

The POW Studios team attended the Ara Mai Nuku - Rise up from the Earth: Māori Ceramic Art exhibition opening this morning. Curated by POW Studios extended whānau member Dorothy Waetford, the exhibition presents the idea of clay as a medium for the expression of Māori culture and identity - a growing legacy and continuum that speaks now and into the future.

Matt Lambourn, POW Studios Creative Director was incredibly impressed by the level of work on display. He was captivated by the ability of the pieces to tell stories and express wisdom.
