360º Audio - Tech Innovation and Artistic Collaboration

POW Studios hosted Mayor Andy Foster and WCC Advisor Josh Logan yesterday morning. The POW team along with collaborators Robin Marshall (Mdigital), Claire Mabey (Verb Wellington) and Dorien Vermaas (Dorien Vermaas Consulting), introduced Mayor Foster to an Audio 360º project the group are currently developing.

The project weaves together multi-disciplinary arts and technological innovation, allowing audiences to engage in immersive sonic experiences.

It was immensely rewarding for the team to gain Mayor Foster’s insight into how the project could best be applied in Wellington, especially given the shifting focus onto domestic and local tourism.
