Director Tony Sutorius describes this documentary as "Helen Kelly’s last year fighting injustice, with love". Sutorius filmed the renowned trade unionist as she battled lung cancer and continued advocating. Kelly was a staunch advocate for better safety standards in the Kiwi forestry industry, and sought justice through the courts for families of victims of the 19 November 2010 Pike River mine disaster.
